So I finally got my finisher video of Ironman Canada. It's a montage until they show about 10 seconds of the finish area when I'm going through the finish line. I guess I wasn't going as fast as I thought. ;)
I had Elena last night as well so I got to swim again this morning. I was trying to keep up with lady who had these monster fins on during my 100. She crushed me but I posted my fastest time in the 100 for awhile. This new stroke is really working. Next month I'll start the intervals back up and we'll see how that goes.
Winter has really begun out here in DC. The high today will be 45 and the low just around 30. Ugh...the bikes are just hanging on the rack as I really don't want to strap one to the trainer just yet. I think I'll keep running instead. I just hope that I can keep away from the injuries.
Is it just me or does Thanksgiving vacation seem like forever away? I'm really looking forward to that 4 day weekend. Gluttony and slacking are perfect. It appears that Elena's karate class is going to be part of a local Thanksgiving parade so that should be fun for her. She's probably going to freeze although she quite adept at wearing about 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants. I guess she doesn't like her big winter coat that much so she wears extra clothes so she can just leave it in the closet. My little fashion diva.
